Ceroc at St Chads Intermediate Routine 22/07/13

Tonight saw James Richardson as teacher Suzanne Berson as demo and Chris Uren as DJ.

Tonight was a good one and again a hot one. I had so much fun. Tonight routine was a good one. Here it is:

I liked the dip at the end. It is demoed in this video differently to how it was taught. It looks in this as a lean and dip as one. He taught it as two separate moves a lean then a dip. I think it looks better as one move rather than two. To achieve the move as one the lady (follow) twists to the dip from the lean position.

The night as a whole was really good. The team that will be competing in the Welsh and Scottish champs managed to get in some practice. This went well. Looks like it’s going to be a good one. I really enjoy doing the team.  The music was really good thanks to Chris.

It was really hot but that didn’t stop the people who turned up. People kept dancing all night. There were a lot of people here tonight. At the end of the night there were a lot of people left which is good. The sign of a good night is lots of people left at the end.

I am looking forward to Wednesday night at Queen’s Hall in Leeds, 8pm. I hear James Richardson will be DJ-ing again and Jenny Adams will be teaching.

If you fancy coming down next week to learn Ceroc (modern jive) or just want to try somewhere new it’s Monday at St Chads in Leeds on Otley Road. Starts at 7:30pm
