Ceroc at St Chads Intermediate Routine 20/05/13

Tonight saw James Richardson as teacher, Suzanne Berson as demo and Chris Uren as DJ. Tonight right was really busy. According to James Richardson there were 94 people here. Some of the regular people were not here tonight as some of them had been to the Camber weekender.

Tonight’s intermediate routine looks like this:

The men (leads) seemed to pick up this routine pretty well.  I like this routine. Thanks to James for teaching it. Tonight as a whole was really busy and we had some people come all the way from Manchester. I had a good night and got lots of great dances.

The music was really good as always thanks to Chris. I really enjoyed the music. Made me want to get up and really dance and not just because I was asked.

This Saturday (25/05/13) Chris Uren and Lisa Pang are running a workshop on music and body movement. Chris is doing his part on finding the beat in the music and musicality and Lisa is doing hers on body movement.  After that Chris is giving advice to those who have entered the Welsh Champs competition about competing and what to expect. Its open to everyone and you don’t need a partner to do this.

If you want to come it’s this Saturday (25/05/13) at St Chads in Leeds on Otley Road. Starts at 9:30am and cost £5.

I am looking forward to Wednesday night at Queen’s Hall in Leeds, 8pm.

If you fancy coming down next week to learn Ceroc (modern jive) or just want to try somewhere new it’s Monday at St Chads in Leeds on Otley Road. Starts at 7:30pm

Check out ceroc.com for your local venue.
